Renovation, Addition

Location: Caringbah South, NSW

Architect: Jamisa Design

Description:
A solid but badly designed home was built on this great location.
The home had low ceilings and no internal access to the lower level.
We demolished all the roof and most of the internal wall layout on the ground level which left only the bedroom walls intact we raised the ceiling in the main bedroom to 2.7 m and added a en-suite and walk in robe.
The hero of this home is the kitchen and living areas, we raised the ceiling to 4.1 metres by constructing a steel fabricated frame with highlight windows above the new sliding doors and new roofline.
The new sliding windows and doors gave this room an abundance of light as well as letting in the commanding views of Burraneer bay. We also constructed new internal stairs to the lower ground level layout, the new layout consisted of us having to hammer into rock at the lower
level which gave the clients a lot more useable space, internal access and a 4th bedroom with en-suite.

Features include:
130 wide stained Blackbutt timber floor
Heated flooring and towel rails
Stained blackbutt decking
Calcutta kitchen bench top
Frameless glass balustrading
Square set windows and doors
Shadow line ceiling finishes
